Netgear R6900 ReadyCloud working for Access Point Mode?
Hi,
I'm setting my router R6900 as an Access Point Mode currently. Does anyone know if ReadyCLOUD works with Access Point Mode setup?
I'm trying to access my USB drive outside of my home network. Do I have other choices besides ReadyCLOUD?
Thanks so much

That isn't the way to get on to the Internet.
That link is for the browser graphical user interface (GUI) to manage your router.
To get the R6900 to work as an access point, disconnect it from anything else on the network. Use that address to set it up as an AP.
Or, visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Check the section in the manual Use the Router as a WiFi Access Point.
Then connect it to the router. When you have done that, you need to find the IP address of the R6900 – look at the list of devices attached to your router or find the IP address of its wifi. Then you can feed the IP address into the browser to get at the GUI for the AP.
