Re: Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.78
I do not understand why the NETGEAR development team
persists in continuing on this series of firmware
1.0.2.72
1.0.2.74
1.0.2.76
1.0.2.78
that do not work properly ...

Experiencing random reboots as well.
I just downgraded to .68. If I see another reboot, I'll let you know.

Re: Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.78
No reboots on version .80 for more that 12 hours. Previously it rebooted multiple time in first 30 minutes after install.
I guess it is fixed at least for me.

That's a "partial" reset.

Re: Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.78
Could you explain how do a complete HARD RESET please ?
THANKS
My R7800 was on v1.0.2.68... works fine...
i've done a RESET by pushing button for 10 sec...
R7800 restarts v1.0.2.68, launch GUI 192.168.1.1, assistant starts, and run upgrade to fw v1.0.2.80
R7800 restarts the new v1.0.2.80... and enter all manual parameters (AP mode, wifi ssid, key ... )
the R7800 works for 5 minutes... wifi drops ... internet drops.... and R7800 reboots...
Believe me, honestly, it's not a game, for me, to upgrade... week after week...
THE ONLY THING i would is that my R7800 works fine, with AP mode, with the latest firmware...
BUT .... since fw v1.0.2.72, v1.0.2.74, v1.0.2.78, v1.0.2.80
it's IMPOSSIBLE !!!!

Me again. .80 started to reboot. I think additional active users triggers reboot issue.

Re: Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.78
Easy fix. Don't use Netgear firmware. Install DD-WRT and you'll be so much happier. I certainly am.
