NG is taking a look at this. So for now. Use what works best for you. All we can do for now.

Try downgrading or using 3rd party FW. 

We've passed this onto NG. Will have to wait for them to fix these issues.

I have been stuck using old firmware on my R8000P (V1.4.1.36_1.3.1) because of the following issues:

• 6to4 tunneling addresses were unable to be set under later firmware

• Performance Optimization Database  corruption  - the version and release date were blank and I don't think they were working. effects were higher ping times (sometimes into the 1k range) and pages not loading correctly. I do not have a 1Gbps connection so this feature is needed by me. my subscribed internet speed is 10Mbps down / 1Mbps up.

• attached devices page not showing attached devices.- only a factory reset and re-entering of all the settings would fix this and the previous problem, which occurred on an almost bi-weekly basis

have these issues been solved under the latest firmware?

Also.. router autoupdate lists this version but fails to install. attempting to do a manual install results with the router saying the firmware is incorrect.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct FW file for your model Router? There are 3 different models listed in this thread.

Yes I Downloaded It Twice From The R8000p downloads Page. The Router Is Not Accepting The New Firmware,  Even As A Manual Update.

Will not allow me to reserve an IP address for my devices.
I have some configured already, but wanted a new one for my Roku that isn't showing the correct address.
I removed the one I had configured for 10.0.0.14 OK
I try to set a new one, I click on the correct device on the add screen, it then allows me to change the IP address to the one I require, when I click add I get the message Invalid MAC address. 
The Mac address has no colons in the returned error message, I have rebooted multiple times tried it with no internet or anything else attached to the computer using the interface, I have no idea what's happening!

Oh BTW I corrected the loss of assigned IP by flashing a backup version of the router, it is still not operating correctly.
HELP!

No, the manual update to .68 went normally. trying to then update to .94 still presents with same error.

just for kicks.... could we compare the hash for the file that i have and the someonelses R8000P .94 file?

I would keep the v.68 loaded for now. Users have already posted that there are problems with v.94 so keep v.68 for now. I've already passed this onto NG.

So.... it looks like the .68 suffers from the long standing ipv6 dns issue as well. on top of that, it appears that because of the error, the 6to4 ipv4 address is entered but not used. all attempts at accessing ip6 addresses fail, even when ipv5 dns server address is entered into windows.
