I went through the process again...updated to latest firmware and then deleted a pc from the LAN...tried to add it back and it gives the message Invalid MAC address...load the previous firmware and can add it back to LAN with no problem...It has the colons in the address where it's listed but when adding it to the LAN and get the Invalid MAC address message, the colons are missing from that address.
The newest version does have a bug and will have to be fixed.

This is a known issue. Bug was reported and passed to NG for review already.

I have been operating some time now with IPV6 enabled and continue to avoid the DNS problems. But, there is a slight connection delay after Windows starts that wasn't present before. I assume some sort of resolution or address assignment is taking place.

It was V1.4.3.88_1.3.50 on R7900P. The solution worked well for a long time but I am again experiencing problems. The version in place today is V1.4.4.98_1.3.56. I don't know yet when it was installed. Since my original fix and confirmation, I am sure Windows updates were installed and we experienced several power outages. It looks like I am starting over.

I am having a problem reserving an IP address for a specific device - my server. It keeps telling me the MAC address is not valid. I am attempting to assign an address outside of the range of devices on my network - 192.168.1.100. My other devices stop at 192.168.1.64. The reason I am trying to reserve this address for the client is because my router randomly changes the IPs including for this client. It is running VMs and apps that require a static IP address.
Steps I have taken:
I have verified the MAC address on MoBo box and in IPCONFIG.
Manually assigned IP, Subnet, Gateway, and DNS in Network/Network Connections/My Adaptor/IPv4 properties on the client.
Logged into my Router from a different client and can verify the server is connected using the IP 192.168.1.100.
Went to Advanced/LAN Setup and tried to add an IP address to reserve. I click on +Add. I select the server from the list that populates. It auto populates the form with the CORRECT MAC address. However, when I click +Add to add the IP address, I get and Invalid MAC address failure.
Please see attached screenshots.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
