Were you able to apply the firmware beta and did it resolve the invaid MAC address problem?
- Dark360Dec 25, 2022Star
I have been using the beta firmware for a few days now and it works fine.
MAC Address Reservation Issue Is Fixed
- ACMilan1899Dec 25, 2022GuideI can also confirm that the beta firmware has been working fine since I installed it on my R7960P router.
Merry Christmas everyone! - mlenahanDec 25, 2022GuideI too would be interested in the Beta firmware. Did the beta firmware also fix the incorrect connection listing in the connected devices screen?
- mlenahanDec 25, 2022GuideOops sorry about that, distracted by Christmas. I have a model R7960P.
- _-stu-_Dec 27, 2022AspirantGood to read that the beta is working out for folks! That said, I’m rocking an R8000P and I’d like to get in on some of this sweet beta action for myself.
Thanks Much! - ACMilan1899Dec 28, 2022GuideHi guys, so I have been testing the beta for several days on my R7960P router now and all looks fine… I just noticed that my latency increased from ~20 ms to 60 ms after this update which is not noticeable when browsing the Internet but when playing online games.
Has anyone experienced the same?
I know this is a beta version I am using but are there any tweaks I can perform on the router to get it down?
Other than that I don’t see any issues.
Thanks. - joealmonteDec 28, 2022AspirantI would like to test the beta firmware. Will you please provide the link to it.

What did you use to determine that?

Gotta cha.
😉
- ACMilan1899Dec 28, 2022GuideI compared the 2 firmwares and default settings except Wi-Fi setup.
Both times I reset the router and setup from scratch.
I used 1.4.1.68 - latency ~20 ms
Beta 1.4.4.95 - latency ~60 ms

FURRYe38, I would like to test the beta firmware for the R8000P.
- unleasheddadDec 29, 2022Aspirant
I have a R7960P can someone also send me the beta firmware? This is driving me crazy.
