I see that now. I thought I had the latest firmware because when I use the router interface to determine if there are updates available it displayed "no new firmware version available" and I had automatic updates enabled. Clearly I need to do a manual check the future. Thank you for your help.

Sadly, that is an unreliable test, which is why we ask for version numbers.
As you have discovered, claims of having "the latest" firmware can be wrong.
When you do upgrade, it could be a good idea to reset your router and set it up from scratch.
