Re: Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 MD5 Verify Error
Already on the newer firmware, still get the MD5 error for the GUI language update. Have a case open with NG they wanted me to factory reset the thing, figure I'll try it over the weekend.

Me too... but they have not yet asked me to factory reset. Please let us know if that works 🙂

Re: Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 MD5 Verify Error
Still no luck, I'm afraid. Currently running firmware version V1.0.2.84 and GUI language version V1.0.0.422, and the Firmware Update Assistant is still giving me the MD5 verification error. Unfortunately the FUA shows here both updates on the same page and doesn't provide any means to select one of them individually, so there's no way I can tell which of the two actually causes this.

Re: Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 MD5 Verify Error
Everyone,
Please factory reset your R7800 router and walk thru the setup wizard. The GUI should update correctly now:
Mine updated with out error today.

Wooohooo! Mine worked correctly. And BTW I did NOT have to do any sort of reset, just went to the update and it worked fine from a Chrome session connected wirelessly.

Re: Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 MD5 Verify Error
Glad it's working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Re: Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 MD5 Verify Error
Successful dual update of firmware (V1.0.2.84 to V1.0.2.90) and GUI language (V1.0.0.422 to V1.0.0.425), via the Firmware Update Assistant 🙂
Like @aprayiii, no factory reset was needed in my case.
Many thanks for your support!
