Nighthawk R6700v3 speed too slow
I just upgraded my Internet to a fiber optics company today at 500mb download/upload speeds. Everything is working fine, except my Nighthawk R6700v3 router will not go any faster than about 180mb or so, both download and upload. The technician and I tried several things: rebooting the router, updating the firmware, etc. No luck. We plugged directly into the modem and the speed was as advertised, so it's clearly a router issue. Does anyone have any suggestions, other than buying a new router? Although the router is 2 or 3 years old, the technician didn't think it should be having these issues. Thanks for any ideas!

Did you try factory resetting and testing with the default configuration? (make sure not to enable access controls, parental controls, traffic monitoring, or qos during the reinstall)
What modem/gateway did you get from the fibre company?
