Nighthawk R7000 overnight reboot
Hi all, i bought this router 2nd hand, and it has been fine but i have noticed that over night it has been rebooting at around 1am/2am for less than 10 seconds
this was while it was in Router Mode
i am now currently on AP mode as i am trying something new for my setup
just wondering if there is anything i can to stop it loosing connection each night ???

Re: Nighthawk R7000 overnight reboot
Have you tried updating to the latest firmware which is currently .116, which, fingers crossed, has worked well for me so far, or downgrading to the firmware that has the reputation for being the most stable which is .42??

Re: Nighthawk R7000 overnight reboot
If that doesn't help, I suggest going back to .42.. I don't personally like using old firmware, but it none of the newer firmwares work, it is about your only choice. I had to do that for a couple years until the recent .116 firmware.

Re: Nighthawk R7000 overnight reboot
Its running through a sky hub so i cant turn the sky SSID off to make the nighthawk the router so to speak it has to be a double or a AP,
But as we are running alot of kit i have been advised to run 2 xboxs ps4 gaming pc all via ethernet through a switch, this is going to be ordered over the weekend
