That "Gateway " is the LAN IP address of your router.
I need to remove the 3rd ring doorbell from the Router as the router thinks the Camera is a ring doorbell so I need to remove or delete the reference of ring doorbell from the router.
Why do you need to remove it? Some sort of conflict when you install something else? You don't like the name?
When I reset the router to factory defaults it remembered all of the devices that had been using the router with the exception of the SimpliSafe Camers that I am having a problen installing back on the router using the Simplisafe App.
Yes, routers do remember old connections, but there should be a way to remove them.
- Settings
- Advanced
- Security
- Access Control
- View list of allowed devices not currently connected to the network
If Access Control is enabled it should be a simple case of checking and deleting the things you want removed.
But you should not need to do that to add something else.
I am not convinced that this is the issue that gets in the way of installing the camera. But I don't know how the Simplisafe App works. Could be another one of those useless apps that are a pain in the IoT world.

I will try this one more time then give up and change routers.
I installed a camera that is for SimpliSafe Security last year, About 6 months later I installed 2 Ring Doorbells,
I could not access my Netgear Nighthawk r7000 router so I did a factory Reset.
Everything came back working fine with the exception of the SimpliSafe Security Camera.
After trying to install the camera in the Router that was unsuccessful I looked in the routers connected devices and low and behold I now have 3 ring doorbells but no SimpliSafe camera
so now I need to remove the 3rd ring doorbell that is really the SimpliSafe camera and try installing it again because when I try to install the camera the router has it in use thinking it is a ring doorbell.
But now after looking through the Netgear router settings there is no way to remove a device (camera in disguise as a doorbell) so I can attempt to reinstall the Camera. I identified which device is the camera and which 2 are the ring doorbells using the mac address.
The router has put the camera in use, I can tell by the Blue flashing light on the camera that is supposed to be white so I can scan the barcode on the back of the camera to set the mac address.
With the mac address already in place on the router the barcode will not scan to place the real barcode for the camera in the device on the router that worked fine for over a year until I reset the router to factory defaults.
I found a post after googling how to remove a device for a nighthawk router and it says to install the Netgear app on my phone and go to Devices and click on the offline device and click delete, Now after following the directions when I click on the camera it is in use by the router and not offline so the option to Delete it is not there.so it looks like i am screwed and need to replace the router.
Netgear needs to add a delete button in the connected devices to get rid of a bad device.
What I mean as a device is the items listed in the Attached Devices
