Nighthawk R7450 Lost local network after firmware update

After updating my router's firmware to V1.2.0.92_1.0.1, I have lost all local network connections.
I have 4 Windows 10Pro PC's connected, they all still have internet access, but are not able to see each other on the local network.
I have a USB3 HDD connected to the router and the Media Server still works for BlueRay/DVD players, but I cannot connect to the Readyshare drive with any PC to access the files, I have to physically remove the drive from the router and connect it to a PC to access the files.
In the PCs I have "SMB 1.0/CIFS Client" turned on, but turning it off doesn't help.
I have factory reset the router, it did not help.
Everything worked fine before the firmware update.
Anything else I should try?
Thanks

Yes network is still set to private.
Tried the network troubleshooter in Windows?
It used to be a joke but has been getting better/
Have you tried typing the device addresses into Windows Explorer?
Devices have a habit of going AWOL. They suddenly sprint into view if I do that. One reason why I keep shortcuts to the rest of the network, PCs and NAS stuff.

Re: Nighthawk R7450 Lost local network after firmware update
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

Re: Nighthawk R7450 Lost local network after firmware update
Did you check on the windows pc's to see if they'd changed their network connections from private to public?
It could be it thought the router was a new network after the firmware upgrade and when set to public, isn't able to see the shared drives/computers.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity
We’re members of the public helping out on our own time.

Re: Nighthawk R7450 Lost local network after firmware update
Just tried all that again with no luck.
Disconnected power to both modem and router, and waited 5 minutes.
I powered up the modem and waited for the internet connection (about 3 minutes), then I connected power to the router and powered it up.
I then waited another 5 minutes before checking network connections.
When I open Windows Explorer and click Network, I can see the PC that I'm currently on plus the R7450 (Gateway), modem "ZyXEL APS" and printer (Brother HL-L2360D series) and that's all.

Typing the device address into explorer, sheesh, why didn't I think of that?
Used to do it all the time in Windows 2000, forgot all about it.

Re: Nighthawk R7450 Lost local network after firmware update
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

I suppose it is progress that you haven't had to use that one lately.
Windows networking has always caused problems here. NAS things go AWOL all the time here.
