It is not discoverable as a Wifi any longer. Only the power led light blinks (white colour). I have tried performing a factory reset by using a paperclip for the recommended 7 seconds. I am not sure what has happened and how it can be rectified. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance.
Some of your post doesn't seem to make sense to me?
Starting with "needed for me to connect to my newly installed broadband service"? Huh? Why? Who said so?
Next, "I went through the steps as advised"? What steps and 'who' advised? Did you do it wirelessly or wired? If you needed to connect to the new ISP, how did get the firmware and apply it?
Then this, " It is not discoverable as a Wifi any longer."? Does that mean the router works as wired? If however the POWER LED is blinking it means "Blinking white. The firmware is corrupted" you shouldn't even be able to get to it wired. Yes, TFTP is what is needed.
I know NG says you can use wirless to update the router, but that can lead to exactly the problem you see, should ALWAYS be done wired from a PC is my feeling about this. TFTP will require a wired connection as well.
