So, the new Nighthawk X6S which will be released later this week, is gonna support Smart connect for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands unlike the X6 where it works only for the two 5 GHz bands.
Is Netgear gonna make this new Smart connect feature available for older X6 through a firmware release or is this feature exclusive for the X6S?
Thanks 👍

Hi R9,
Thank you for the feedback and suggestion. We are looking for implementing this feature across more products but there is no ETA as to when it will be available.

Re: Nighthawk X6S vs X6 - Smart connect
Does the smart connect really works. As far as i seen is ad shows it switch the high bandwidth devices to another 2ndary band. But there is no real time example that showcase the feature actually works
