Nighthawk and SmartThings VLAN
Hello, I want to setup a VLAN on my NightHawk for a SmartThings hub so none of my IOT devices can communicate with anything on the wireless or wired LAN ports. Anyone know how to do that? Thank you!

Re: Nighthawk and SmartThings VLAN
Thank you but there's a tab that even says VLAN in the settings. Those aren't VLANs?

Re: Nighthawk and SmartThings VLAN
Those are used for Internet connections. They're not full-blown VLAN setup configurations

Re: Nighthawk and SmartThings VLAN
Got it, thank you! So I'll need to plug in another device between the NightHawk and the SmartThings Hub to establish a VLAN? Any suggestions on something cheap, simple and secure? I really want my IOT devices to have the most minimal of connections to my network. Thank you for your help!

Re: Nighthawk and SmartThings VLAN
Your router needs VLAN support. Placing a cheap managed switch with VLANs support, for example, won't do it. If your router is supported by DD-WRT or FreshTomato, you can try those firmwares. I've set up on Tomato VLANs in the past for the Guest network so I know it works
