Nighthawk router blocking Xfinity website

Does it work if you hardwire a pc/laptop directly into the modem? I know its worked on your phone but did you try it with the router skipped but still using the modem connection?

It does not work connected directly to the modem either.
- That would imply a modem or isp issue and not a router issue
