Nighthawk x10 ad7200 to Nighthawk ax12 ax11000 setting transfer
Hello having used the X10 nighthawk for the last 3 years, I want to now set up a new AX12 nighthawk as the main router from a virgin hub 3 without loosing all my settings and having to re-configure devices like Arlo cameras onto a new network. Is this possible please as I would also like to then use the x10 as a secondary router in the house but I think I should be ok with setting that up once the AX12 is in place. Just do not want to loose current network settings in the process of swapping. I am fairly novice at doing this too apart from you tube guides which do not answer transferring network details to the new ax12.

What you can do is use the same ssid/password on the new device and the wireless devices should auto-connect.
If you have any port forwarding rules/ip reservatios, write those down or snap a screensnip/picture.

Its not hard.
Simply write down your current ssid and password. Then during setup of the new router, enter the same ssid/password as the old one. There'll be an option during setup to enter your own ssid/password and that's when you do it. Or if you miss it, you can always log into the router afterwards and change it.
