NighthawkNighthawk X6 R8000 - IOT cpu memory and more

Friends,

I incorporated 16 smart devices into my home and now I need the different frequencies of 2.4 and 5 ghz.

now I need to know the consumption of the memory and the cpu of the router.

With that information I can balance a switch or another option.

How can I know ?

I guess you can't access the router console by telnet and run linux commands.

Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot! Christian

CPU and Memory Usage can be seen on the routers IP address/debug.htm page

HOw many other devices besides these 16 IoT devices do you have? You may run into running the router down and see bad behavior with lots of devices all connected at once. Routers can only handle so many.

Currently there are 17 devices connected at the same time, the IOT devices are in the 2.4ghz frequency, also, if I add the devices that are in the 5ghz frequency (2 cpus 2 TVs 4 mobile phones) there are many, and I suppose that over time I will buy more IOT devices and for that reason I wanted to know how it was consuming memory and cpu.

That address is great, what I was needing.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christian

You might want to add on a wifi extender to help off load some devices and keep the router from bogging down if you had more devices.

Something like a EX8000 would be suggested.
