No internet to router.
My PC died..so I bought a new one. The new one is wireless, the old one wasn't. So now I want to connect my modem to the router and away we go right? Not so fast....according to tutorial..Connect Ethernet cable from modem to router and then power them both up. Go to your devices..use net gear as your network...login and away we go...right? Not!!! What am I doing wrong?? I even reset the modem and the router, powered them both down, then back on after a few....no go. The Ethernet cable is all that connects the modem to the router. Then both of these devices have power cords and that's it. How hard can this be? In the meantime I am bypassing the router and just using the modem....but this is so slow. Any ideas? All I keep getting is no connection to internet...

Re: No internet to router.
You gave us nothing to go off.
There a NG product your referring too?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.
