Purchased used AC2400 router
I purchased a used NETGEAR AC2400 router off Facebook market, I downloaded the App, tried connecting the router to the modem the wireless devices do not see the NETGEAR router, called tech support was told the router is still registered to previous owner, is this why I can't use it?

With any used device, try factory resetting it first.
while the device is powered on, push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds.
Then try following the install guide.
