Question about using a Nighthawk Router with a Quantum G1100
Hey guys, I was wondering how I could go about using a Nighthawk Router with the G1100. I get the G1100 for free as part of my plan agreement, and have no real problem with it as a modem. However, the wifi range seems extremely limited, at least in my home. I've heard very good things about the Nighthawk router in terms of both speed and range, and was considering picking it up. Is it possible to keep using the G1100 as my modem (and enable me to keep using my TV service), and let the wireless be handled by the Nighthawk? If so, how do I go about setting it up? Thanks for the help!

Probably depends on how this "TV service" works.
Two obvious options:
- Put the G1100 into "bridge mode" in front of another router
- Get a wireless "access point" (or a router in AP mode) and put that behind the G1100
