does your isp support ipv6?
have you tried with it enabled?

When I changed settings to auto for IP6, it changed it to 6To4 Tunnel and https://test-ipv6.com/ giving positive result for support.
- plemansJun 06, 2021Guru - Experienced UserDid it help?
- anilsaxenaJun 06, 2021AspirantNo, websites with issue still not working.
- plemansJun 07, 2021Guru - Experienced Userwhen I run a quick trace route using mine, I get a lot of timeouts similar to yours on those websites. They work if I use a browser but my dropped trace routers aren't from router---->modem. Its downstream of that like yours. Might be why it works through a vpn since everything is routed through the vpn and not the isp.

Thanks for helping, not sure what else to try. I am discovering more and more websites are blocked.

Try reinstalling the firmware to the router, then doing a factory reset and new install. don't use a backup configuration.

Before I blamed the router, I'd make sure that I was doing the same
things with and without it.> Tracing route to atlassian.com [18.136.214.22]
> over a maximum of 30 hops:Around here:
ITS $ nslookup atlassian.com 8.8.8.8
Server: dns.google
Address: 8.8.8.8
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: atlassian.com
Addresses: 104.192.142.4, 104.192.142.3, 104.192.142.5
Your DNS resolution (at least) is different from mine, but my
traceroute got lost after my ISP, so I'd guess that there are (routing?)
problems with (at least) that one site other than your router. - anilsaxenaJun 09, 2021Aspirant
antinode I have tried same ISP with different router, direct connection and it works fine.
It is not limited to one website but dozen of different websites.
I have also try complete reset of router and still same issue.

I'm not claiming that the R6220 is innocent, only that
"atlassian.com" might look different because of DNS differences.
Clearly, my (Google's) stuff didn't resolve it the way yours did.If you're doing anything with IPv6, which I'm not (so far as I know),
then that's another place where one router might do something
differently from another. But none of that means that the R6220 is
"blocking" anything. - anilsaxenaJun 09, 2021Aspirant
Strange thing is it started happening only in last 10 days or so. Although things working well on other router, I won't rule out something going at ISP level.
I have tried all settings for IP6.
