R6300v2 Disconnecting Internet Exactly Every 30 Minutes
I am a Consolidated Communications customer. I am using their Netgear R6300v2 router and I am continually disconnected from onling gaming (several games) every 30 minutes on the dot (timed it many times). I have tried disconnecting from the router and connecting directly to the modem and the disconnects stopped, so I am certain this is a router issue.
I have checked my DHCP lease renewal and it is set at 24 hours so that seems to not be the issue. I am wondering about my firmware version. My router admin shows firmware version V1.0.3.22_10.1.13SW however this does not appear to be the current version for my router. Is is possible that this could be causing a problem such as I am having and is this something I can update even though this is a Consolidated Communications router?
Any other ideas as to what might be causing my disconnects are welcome as this has gone beyond frustrating.

I know nothing, but I wouldn't expect anything in the router to
operate at that interval. However, ...

The key there is "their". Apparently, you have a router with
ISP-specific firmware. Another example:

I can imagine that there's some oddity in that "SW" firmware which
might cause (periodic) trouble. (But what do I know?)
Knowing what I do, I'd see if I could get my hands on a different
router, swap it in, and see if the problem persists.
Does complaining to the ISP help?
