R6300v2

I have a negear r6300 smart wifi router. Approx 6 years old. I am moving to a new residence. I have never updated this firm.  I've never had a problem but shoulbinbuyba new one

    If it does what you want, why spend more money?

     

    If you do move it, it is a good idea to do a "factory reset". The new network won't be the same. For example, it will have different login details for the Internet and probably a different modem in front. You don't want the router to remember its old settings.

    While you are at it, it might be a good idea to update the firmware, if only to get any security updates since you bought it.
