R6900 keeps rebooting

I reset my R6900 to factory settings, now it just continuously reboots

It is toast. I had a similar issue:

Yours must also be 4-5 years old. These consumer routers do not last. Just buy something else.

Also, it was working earlier and I had not made any firmware changes.  I did a reset and every thing seemed to work fine, I did another reset and now it just keeps rebooting

I tried manually updating the firmware with tftp with no success. I set my PC to 192.168.1.10 and oppened up a cmd (ping 192.168.1.1 -t), turned on the router and waited, finally got a couple good pings then back to "Request timed out." 

Any ideas?

You may need to contact support if the unit is still under warranty.
