R7000 Bricked after 1.0.9.12 update

Took "security" update via Router Interface connected over wired network. Router stayed off line for two hours, no response. Power cycling did not restore sanity. Tried to use the reset pin but it did nothing as well. Looking for any options to recover bricked device.
