R7000 ; Only PC Can Connect to Internet

Evening everyone!

Was having some issues with connectivity so my ISP had me factory reset my Modem & Router. Modem is a Netgear CM1000 and Router is a Nighthawk R7000. After the reset, for some reason only my PC is able to connect to the internet. Phone, Xbox, Ring Camera, etc will connect to the Wifi, but are unable to actually connect to the internet.

I've tried everything I could think of, but nothing seems to work.

I do get the following splash screen on my Xbox from Netgear Genie saying "detecting is there is an existing router in your network, please wait..." when I try and connect.

I also am unable to login to the Nighthawk app or even set the router up as a new system.

Any ideas?

Did you set up the modem and R7000 again? You'll have to do that after a reset.

You should be able to use the same wifi SSID and passwords as you had before the ISP told you to wreck your network.

Heaven only knows why they suggested that. It smacks of the "we have no idea blame the rest of the hardware" answer that ISPs love to use.

Apps are best avoided. Can you use a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI)? That is the best way to set up the touter. You have much more control over the thing.

The manual explains how to go about that.

Visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section in the manual Manually set up the Internet connection

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

Just another user with time on their hands.
