R7000 Random Disconnects

Hello,

So I bought the router a few years ago and it worked fine. A little while ago I had issues with it turning off and on constantly throughout the day, especially at night. Had my ISP send out a technician and he suggested we move the router to the center of the house and place it up higher (it was under a desk). It worked fine until a few days ago, and now it's turning off again. I've tried everything that I could think of, but it doesn't seem to fix it. Firmware is V1.0.9.12. I've updated it, rebooted it, reset it, and I just don't know what else to do with it. This only seems to happen at night around 9-10 pm. I've read that it may be an issue with the power supply, but why would it go out only at night?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated,

Thank you

  • Hi Sasquatch63,

Try to plug it on a different power socket. If still the same, try to use a different power adapter with the same specs.
