Hello,
I have recently updated my nighthawk R7000 wifi router firmware to V1.0.9.60_10.2.60. During this update security settings were asked to update like default password of router login, wifi security options etc. etc.
The Update was successful and when I try connecting from my laptop it is working fine. But checking mobile connectivity, i found that none of mobiles at home are connecting to wifi network on 5 Ghz frequency. I tried using forgot network option, different wifi fixer apps, mobile restart etc. etc.
Requesting Netgear support to look into this issue and provide fix for the same at earliest.
Thanks in advance!

If you look around on this site you will find that .60 is bad and has been pulled. Suggestion is to install previous firmware.

Netgear, support??? Not here....
One thing to check, is SMART CONNECT enabled on Wireless settings page? If so, only the single 2.4Ghz SSID is available. Sounds like that is what might have happened.
However, with the last release of the .60 a lot of other threads here mention 5Ghz not working.
If the problem isn't Smart Connect, suggest you go back to an older version that worked.

Thank you IrvSp for your response and feedback. Today I downloaded its old firmware and updated it on my routerlogin site. After update it is now working with all devices.
