R7000 and Google Tensor phones
Have a Pixel 7, Pixel 8... neither will connect to the R7000 with 802.11ac, only 802.11a. Had a pixel 5a, where there was no issues with much greater speed (200-300Mb d/l) when connecting to the R70...
Try a factory reset and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser.
Try with Smart Connect enable or disabled as well.
Maybe that phones are not really compatible with and older model router as well. Something to contact the Mfr of the phones about.
Try a different model router.
