Re: R7000 -cant get to work with iptv
So, question is, did the green fix here work for the Netgear R7000, or another sort? Thanks in advance.

Re: R7000 -cant get to work with iptv
SORTED IT !!!
This is extremely simple (well...for my particular situation....Talktalk broadband / Netgear R7000 router / Sky Sports channels not working / error IPC6023).
Using firmware - V1.0.5.48_1.1.79.
Click on "Advanced"->"Setup"->"WAN Setup"
Deselect "Disable IGMP Proxying"
Tick "Support British Telecom[BT} IGMP Proxying"
Click "Apply"
Router saved settings. Youview box didn't even have to be reset! Sky sports channels streaming through loud and clear!
Phew!!!

Re: R7000 -cant get to work with iptv
Just hope others find this post before considering flashing to a different firmware!!
Now my next challenge on the 'R7000 to-do list'....why on earth are my port-forwards not working? Must be something obvious hidden away somewhere! Will pick up another thread for that one 😉
