Hey guys,
I got some major speed issues i just can't get fixed....
I already had a R7000 in router mode in my previous setup with the ISP router in bridge mode, this worked fine.
Now i got a new router/modem from my ISP and a faster connection 300Mb/s.
Now the problem starts...... because i want to leave this new router as is and wanted to use all lan ports i configured the R7000 as an AP and hooked it up using the Lan port instead the WAN port as suggested.
Now i get terrible wifi speeds from the R7000......and i mean like 10Mb/s or less...
I tried everything WMM, QoS etc..... no luck
So i put the R7000 back to router mode and disables DHCP so it would function as a switch......No connection at all.....
I resetted the R7000 and used the installation wizard this time, now it's working and i get high speeds but on both routers DHCP is enabled and the speed is good but not consistent. When i do a speedtest i get 300Mb/s and one hour later i have 40Mb/s and it goes up and down randomly.
Why does simple AP mode not working properly??
Using the latest firmware

Hi Gmember,
1. Reset the router to factory default.
2. Check the new router, make sure the connection is stable. If not, contact ISP.
