R7000P drops internet in 5Ghz Mode - No response on Ticket Case #43907418

I'm posting here for support as my offical ticket Case #43907418 is not getting any response on support even after detailed troubleshooting on call with agent.

THE ISSUE: R7000P - 5GHZ mode intermittently turns off and drops internet connectivity. This happens only in 5GHZ mode, 2.4GHZ runs fine so there is no issue with it dropping internet so my ISP is in the clear. After the issue occured consistently on the factory loaded firmware I have gone through the trouble of installing the latest firmware (1.3.2.126) and the issue still persists. I'm now suspecting a hardware issue - sad because the router is less than 6 months old!

Support not responding to my ticket Case #43907418 and me having to resort to posting on public forums is quite a sad state of affairs TBH.

Any help from the public at large is highly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Try installing version 1.3.0.20 of the firmware over a hardwired connection, do a factory reset, a clean install (not from a backup), and then after reinstalling, disable auto updates. The newer versions got the netgear armor "upgrade". Maybe yours is one that doesnt play nicely with the armor firmware.
