We're having a lot of trouble getting wi-fi signal for wi-fi calling & zoom throughout our house. I'm not technical, we live in a rural area & there is no such thing as an internet specialist anywhere near here. We've exhausted local unknowledgeable options & are at our wits end (have already tried satellite nbn doesn't get enough signal to do anything). We have a telstra mobile broadband dongle (4gx) with a patch lead going to a recently installed Yagi antenna on our roof (installed by telstra). Still getting very poor signal & usually mobile phones on window sill pick up better signal than wifi.
We bought 2 netgear R7000p to run with the satellite. My question is can I make them work with mobile broadband (possibly a better dongle like the nighthawk m2) or do I just get the nighthawk m2 and plug it directly into the yagi & leave it at that. Have spent hours on phone to telstra & they are useless to deal with. Thanks for any help you can give.
