I am thinking of switching internet providers to a provider that run fiber optics to the house to a wireless unit that I would then connect to wirelessly and I need to know if my R7450 router can do that IE stand alone

No, it can't connect wirelessly. You need a cable for the WAN port.

No, it can't connect wirelessly. You need a cable for the WAN port.
