Hello: I bought an R7500 (the box indicated it was R7500v2 but inside I found an R7500v1) n February 2016. I have about 60/60 (download/upload) when doing a wired connection but on Wifi I only get 50/10. I can understand a 10% decrease but not a decrease from 60 to 10. I searched the forums and did the following:
a.- I tried different FW, no change
b.- Factory reset, no change
c.- Test using my laptop about 1 ft from the router, no luck
d.- change channels --- different speeds but no improvement.
e.- Turn on/off QoS. Turn on/off WMM
f.- If I connect directly to the ethernet ports, I get the speed I should be getting.
g.- I played with the wireless modes (Up to 54, up to 1733, etc), no luck.
h.- I moved the router around the house, no luck.
i.- I turned on QoS and assigned manually 60Mbps download and upload, no luck.
Another issue with this router is that it corrupts the boot table of the HDD after few days (HFS+)
Anything else I should try? The unit is barely 90 days old.
Thanks!

Re: R7500 slow upload speed / HDD corruption
Thank you Elaine. I uploaded them via mynetgear. I was asked to provide proof of purchase which I did two days, waiting for the validation team's reply.
