R7800 Guest Network DNS Errors with custom DNS (DNS Server is not Router)
Whats going on guys. This is a issue with the guest network (wireless network) only. I have a DNS server that is NOT my router (A secondary machine on the LAN network). This works fine with my private network because the LAN traffic is not restricted. However, as you know, the guest network IS LAN restricted so I think there is a bug in the software that doesn't allow the primary/secondary DNS addresses to pass through to the guest network (basically, anything that is not the router address). Does anybody know how to fix this? I would think this is a firmware/software bug but I am wondering if anybody has worked around this before? Basically I need to add the DNS addresses (primary and secondary) in the internet setup page to the allow list on the guest network for inter-network/LAN communication. Thanks in advanced.
