Just bought the R8000, set it up after analyzing near by connections, foun that channel 11 is clear. My sons kindle is the primary user of that band, while everything else is on 5Ghz. I have not heard more complaining than when I was using my WNDR3700. I have been noticing that when he complains the device shows disconnected from the network and shows a connection failure. To troubleshoot, I switch my phone from 5Ghz to 2.4Ghz and I get a password incorrect error. I don't think its antenna or interference as the SSID is still being prodcasted in Acrulic. Wondering if maybe something went awyr during setup and screwed up the flash. Hence why the current work aorund of just clicking the "apply" button the wireless setup resets soemthing and corrects the problem. Or do you guys/gals believe it could be something else?
