Hello,
So I am trying to register my R8000 router (frimware version V1.0.3.4_1.1.2) through the admin page but I get the error message:
"Registration failed. Please check your user name and password and try again."
I know I am putting in the username and password right seeing as to how I can logon to the ReadyCloud website.
Here are some troubleshoot steps that I have tried (all through the admin page):
1) Factory reset
2) Reinstall firmware using Netgear support
3) Change password of ReadyCloud to not include special characters
4) Make another ReadyCloud account
5) Wait a week and try again
Nothing seems to be working. I would appreciate any adivse!

Hi, the message I got was
Registration failed. Please check your user name and password and try again.
By coincident I found a comment in a forum that ReadyCloud do not accept certain characters in the MyNETGEAR password. I removed a "&" character and just used letters and digits in my password.
After that it worked!
So Netgear should definitely corrct the bugs in their software. There is a lot of people out there struggling with this issue.
Thanks for your replay

Re: R8000 will NOT register to Readycloud
The username should be the my.netgear.com account email address. Make sure you can login to readycloud.netgear.com with the same account.
