I logged on to my router this AM and noticed the update for
1.0.2.86. I upgraded but the router never came back online. The power light is blinking amber even after a reset (didn't seem to do anything). I configured wired windows 10 device with Static IP and cannot ping the router. What are my next steps? I currently have wnd3700 plugged back in just to get internet access.
Thanks,
-Darren

Re: R8500 Firwmare 1.0.2.86 Bricked Router
I followed all the steps but the router does not ever show any green power lights. It goes solid amber, all lights blink on and off, solid amber, all lights blink on and off. This cycle repeats. I've held it as long as 5 minutes and have not seen any green power lights what so ever; it just keeps repeating the pattern as before. How long should it take to get the router into the green flashing power mode?
Thanks in advance,
-Darren
