Re: R8500 Reboot Loop
Tested an essentially similar E8350: it did the job; ran like a top.
Presently running a TP-Link Archer AC3200. Runs solid as a rock. Under rated IMHO.
The R8000 I had was the most impressive. It had top notch range, speed and stability. Which is why (if the day ever comes when I successfully find a solution) I'm excited about this R8500. #patience

Re: R8500 Reboot Loop
I wish I knew the answer to that. Sounds like it's in the same exact condition as mine. I even hooked up the serial interface, invoked a blinking amber power light (restore mode) tried to tftpd the firmware with puTTY and that - sadly - didn't work. Somehow it doesn't seem right that such an expensive product would so easily brick!!!!!
