Nighthawk app recommending I upgrade the firmware in the R9000 router to 1.0.5.26 but I never like to do that without first reviewing the release notes and forum comments. No release notes available and I cannot find any comments. Anyone have any comments on this firmware upgrade?
I'm a bit impressed by this statement. Its one of the things we frequently recommend but so rarely see in action. Thanks for renewing my faith in humanity 🙂
I've seen a couple posts on it but you're always going to see a few after every firmware update. There's always a few that have issues. I'd make a backup of your current configuration and try updating it. If there's issues, you can always downgrade, factory reset, and reinstall the backup. That'd be the route I'd go.
