R9000 X10 VPN client

Greetings,

I purchased one of your R9000 Nighthawk X10 routers. I'd like to route all my traffic through a VPN. Please tell me I didn't spend $500 on a router that doesn't support this. Third party people have not released a stable solution yet. Should I return it for  Asus which supports openvpn .opvn files right out of the box? Please advise, otherwise I really like this router.

To clarify route all my traffic through a VPN. So the router would have to be setup for as a client. DD-wrt Asus-wrt and other firmware support this.

The R9000 supports OpenVPN. 

I am actually using it right now.

To clarify, the R9000 includes an OpenVPN server - set up to allow you to access your home network securely while you are away from home.
