Thank you for the flowers
I'm in the lucky(?) position operating 1.0.2.32 for some days already. It works pretty much reliably, if the Dynamic QoS thing with the by-connected-device (the lConnected Device ist is more or less reliably updated) priority setting (which is in place on Connected Devices - Edit) can fulifill all users expectation ... I can't judge. For best throughput, and to avoid unexpected dynamic changes ... I pefer to have the QoS and DoS protection mostly disabled.
Beyond, it feels and behaves like the 1.0.2.30 which has seen disabling the QoS thing on a short note for a quick release I guess.
There are - on my high expectations - lots of security issues unresolved ...

Feel free to provide your feedback.
How does one update this database? My router says March is the latest version.
I am running firmware 1.0.2.32

It Auto updates on it's own. Nothing to do on your side.

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
You might try this, download the lastest version of the FW. Use IE11 or FF, clear all browser caches before and after loading the FW. Do a factory reset, manally load the FW, factory reset and set up once more. Enable Dynamic QoS and leave it. Check the date and if nothing has changed to April, come back day two or three days later and check on it.

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
Can't get rid of the impression there are two release dates - one in the QoS database, and the effective date it was released.
Can't be we have to nurse the R9000, play browser compatibility fig and cache, reset, and so on. We talk of a product here - not a PoJ.

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
All right, following an email exchange with the Netgear PM in Taiwan, they uploaded the v1.12, with a release date 25 Myy 2017 to the update server - so this is available for about one hour now.

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
I'm still at on my R7800:
Current Performance Optimization Database on Router
Version: v4.0428.g33cf1a0
Release Date: April 28, 2017
How does the update get pushed to the routers? Reboot or Factory reset? This update only for the R9000 data base or all NG routers?

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
R7800 is off-topic here, no idea.
For the R9000, I was told the push the new QoS DB for the R9000 to the server, and someminutes later I've triggered a manual update check, which succeeded. So either they maintain an XML feed, or are using a hardcoded direct download URL.
