I just purchased the R9000. I am trying to set up the QOS rules but if I go to Advanced -> Setup -> QOS Setup; I am only seeing WMM settings there. I have tried on both 1.0.1.20 and 1.0.1.18 versions of the firmware. Please see image below. This is from 1.0.1.18 ( I rolled back from 1.0.1.20, assuming that it might be a firmware issue).

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
I noticed the same thing just yesterday when i got my X10....i checked the X6 and noticed both the dynamic QOS and WMM but the X10 only has the WMM
is the router handling QOS internally or there's a problem with the current firmware?

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
Does Netgear ever respond to questions? Seems to be empty on any r9000 related ones 😕

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
Are you guys in the new firmware. It seems you are still not in upto date firmware.
Check if you can get this working after updating the latest by using the notice ballon on the top and see if the new firmware works.

I'm only see FW .20 on the website, unless the Netgear servers haven't released it .

If you reread my post, you will see that I have tried the latest and that I rolled back in an attempt to resolve this issue. Still no luck here.

I have the same issue here. Just hoping that Netgear will answer to us soon.

I read on another thread somewhere how they are releasing new firmware soon because of plex. Maybe it will appear along with that 😛

if they are lucky they will still have R9000 owners who have not returned the unit available to push the firmware to...its getting really annoying

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
Our QA team is currently doing a sanity test on it and will definitely push the update soon.
Beta testing is not offered at this time.

That's great news, since the R9000 will be available here in Australia soon now, and I have one on pre-order.
I've come to like Dynamic QOS, so just to be clear, QOS, or at least Dynamic QOS, is currently included in a firmware update under test now?
I know you can't give an ETA but is this likely to be available sooner rather than later, IOW, does the Quality Assurance process typically take months or weeks?

Yes, QoS is included in the firmware that is about to be released soon.
From what I have heard, the update will be pushed very soon.

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
yes, this is very upsetting.
I paid a premium for a half baked product. I keep telling myself to have faith, that netgear will fix it.
I starting to regret my decision to replace my router with the X10 now.

Someone posted a quote saying NG is in the process of testing new QoS features. I'd be patient. Will be coming.

Re: R9000 qos settings are missing.
The post saying it was coming out prevented me from retuening the device. My return duration is almost up....
