RC8000 Router not allowing several devices to connect to 2.4GHz Network
Hi. I am trying to troubleshoot a router issue that seems to be very common among the nighthawk netgear users. I just purchasded the RC8000 and got it installed and I am haveing several of my devices (iphones, ipads, smart tv, pelton others) not connecting to the 2.4 GHz wifi band. I have updated the firmware, rebooted dozens of times ,and did a factory reset and reintalled the router. No resolution. I put my old router back and all the devices connected fine so I am using that for now.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Some have said to change the channel widht to 54 from the 300 that is default and others have said doing someting with the security, but I am not a techy in that sense.
thanks

You may want to check or uncheck the 20/40 mhz see if that resolves the issue I linked a KB.
