Have the below stated router. Had to do a factory reset on it as it kept dropping out ever 10-20 minutes, and/or web interface became unusable.
Factory reset seems to have fixed the problem, but he problem comes back if I restore the backed up cfg file. More than likely, something in the settings was causing a crash, and I backed that up along with everything else, unfortunately. Which means I need to re-input all my settings from scratch!
I know this is a long shot, but is there any tool to read a cfg file from this router? Would make life a lot simpler if I didn't have to try and remember all the settings. I'm sure I can do it, but a nice, quick, easy method would be REEEEEALLY nice!
Cheers in advance.

P.S. Router info is down there!

With some models, the ".cfg" file is (mostly) plain text, and reading
it can provide useful hints regarding the settings. For models where
the ".cfg" file looks like noise, I'm unaware of a way to decode it.

Wouldn't typing the model number have been easier?

Re: Read cfg file
I thought that where we enter the model info and it comes up automatically is supposed to make it easier. Otherwise why have it there at all. Anyway, my apologies, I will know for future reference. 🙂
And thanks for the reply. Yeah, it;s kinda what I thought, It's not plain text, that would have been easy! Anyway, thanks again for taking the time.
