Readyshare Sysstem Files are Visible

Why are System Files visible when shared through Readyshare?

File Explorer settings, had the check box checked for "Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended)". 

These systems are not visble when the drive (external hdd) is plugged directly into the PC. However when the external drive is plugged into the R8000 Nighthawk router, through the Readyshare USD port....and mapped as a drive to the network, these system files are visible.

Any help would be appreciated.
