I have a PowerLINE 1200 connected to a R8500 router. Every time the router reboots, the IP addresses to the connected devices get changed. Can I force one of the connected devices to be assigned the same IP address each time the router is rebooted? If yes, how?

You can usually set an IP address reservation. It should be under advanced---setup---lan setup From here you should be able to reserve addressess for specific devices. Page 72 of the manual i think.

Re: Router R8500 and PowerLINE 1200's IP address.
Thank you very much! I wasn't sure if I was asking the question correctly to find out what I needed to know. I can read the manual to find out the additional information to make sure everything works properly. Thanks for the reference to it. I very much appreciate the help.
