Router configuration

Hi,

My network looks like this for the moment:

- a router (connected to the fiber)

- my Netgear router connects to the other router on the WAN port

But I would like to access the whole network; and especially let the Netgear router manage what it manages for the moment (dhcp, rules, etc ...)

I would like to be able, from the PCs connected to the Netgear, to access the PCs connected to the other router.

is it possible?

thanks in advance

Re: Router configuration

You're in a double nat.

A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.

Basically you want the first router in the string managing the network. So you'd put the 2nd connected router in access point mode.

Whats not possible? Getting them all on the same network?

Sure it is. You just need to only have 1 router actually managing the routing part of it. So if the netgear is what you're connecting as the 2nd router, put it in access point mode.
