Router dropping wifi randomly and doesn’t need updates

My router recently started dropping WiFi randomly through out the day it doesn’t need an update and I’ve factory reset it and still have the same problem

What actual firmware version are you on? That latest isn't always the best

What modem/gateway is it connected to? 

Does just wifi drop or does wired devices drop at the same time?
